How do I upload my files using FTP?
You can either upload your files via FTP or File Manager in CPanel. FTP is a separate program that you must download in order to upload files - it is not in our CPanel. We recommend WinSCP for maximum security. First of all, download WinSCP at:

To connect to your FTP server:
After installation, start WinSCP, and click on New.
Specify your server, which can be found in your welcome email (e.g. venus.hostignition.com), port number = 34890, your username and password
Click Login
To start uploading files:
On the right panel, go to public_html (double click on the folder)
On the left panel, go to the directory with your website's files
Select all the files you wish to upload on the left, and press F5
Click "Copy" to complete the upload
