All hosting plans
come with unlimited email addresses, which can be
created as mailboxes or email forwarders. In
addition, we also support unlimited number of
mailing lists, autoresponders, filters and usage of
spam-filtering tools. All email features can be
easily used in our control
panel (CPanel). Mailboxes
An email
address can be created as a mailbox which can be
accessed using POP3, IMAP or WebMail. All emails are
stored in your web hosting account, until they are
deleted or downloaded using POP3. You may set the
maximum quota in your control panel, which allows
you to limit the maximum amount of diskspace
allocated to the mailbox.
Email
Forwarders
Unlike a
mailbox, instead of storing incoming emails in
your account, using forwarders allow you to have
the emails forwarded to another email specified
by you. Autoresponders
Whenever
someone sends you an email, if you have setup a
autoresponder, a predefined reply email is sent back
automatically and immediately to the sender. Email
Filters
This allows
you to setup a set of rules which block incoming
emails that violate any of those rules. For example,
you may setup a rule that blocks all emails that
come from somedomain.com. Mailing
Lists
A mailing
list allows you to maintain a list of subscribers,
and email them from time to time. We use MailMan as
our mailing list server. For more information,
please click here. Spam
Blocking Tools
We offer
two spam blocking tools: SpamAssassin and BoxTrapper
Spam Trap. SpamAssassin
is a mail filter that identifies spam using text
analysis and several internet-based realtime
blacklists, while Boxtrapper protects your inbox
from spam by forcing all people not on your white
list to reply to a verifcation email before they can
send mail to you. WebMail
You may
access and manage your mailboxes using your browser
with WebMail. All you need is your email address and
the password, then you may access your account
anywhere in the world with your browser. MX
Entry Modification
If you
would like to use a 3rd party email service to
provide you email services, you may modify the MX
entry to point to their server. When using this
feature, please ensure the email service you are
using has given you instructions in modifying the MX
entry.
