Q: What operating system, server hardware & software do you use?
All our servers run Fedora 2.0, which is based on the end-of-life RedHat Linux. The software we use include Apache as our web and SSL server, Exim for our mail server, and Tomcat for our JSP/Servlets server.
All servers are equipped with dual powerful, mission-critical Xeon 3.0ghz processors and 2GB DDR RAM. To maximize disk reliability and performance, we utilize RAID 5 on multiple 73GB SCSI harddrives.
